SAFETEX USA’s HSEQM Certification, ensures that the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Programs and performance of a company meet the strictest and highest industry standards and exceed the compliance requirements set forth by the respective regulatory agencies such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the International Association for Standardization (ISO), the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Safetex USA works as a clearing house for companies in the areas of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management and only grants it’s distinguished HSEQM Certification to companies like Code Clean, with “Exemplary” programs and performance in each of these areas.
As a basis for the HSEQM Certification, Safetex USA uses adherence to the following criteria as it reviews each area of certification:
– OHSA’s 18001 or ISO 45001: Occupational health and safety standard
– ISO 14001: Environmental management standard
– ISO 9001: Quality management standard
–Center for Disease Control Guidelines
–World Health Organization Guidelines
Once a company applies for certification, completes the initial audit and inspection process, and it is determined that they meet the HSEQM Certification accreditation criteria, they will be granted SAFETEX USA’s HSEQM Certification that will be valid for five years. During the five-year membership period, the company will be responsible for submitting quarterly and annual reports and they will be subject to random audits and inspections to ensure the quality and integrity of their management systems in each area. If there are ever any discrepancies discovered or reported, a corrective action process will ensue to remedy the situation. If a resolution cannot be found or if the level of performance in any of the respective areas drops below the HSEQM Certification’s threshold, companies are subject to losing their accreditation designation.
